The "Bird Affair" is Curtis' latest bronze sculpture. He combines the beauty of the "Great White Egret" and the "Bird of Paradise" flower into a fanciful dance. The elements of this sculpture create a sense of motion. The patina starts out at the base in simple brown tones, transitioning into vibrant colors, further enhancing the motion of the piece.

The wood base is made from "Purple Heart," a non-endangered species from Brazil. No stain is applied. This is the wood's natural color.
